MILWAUKEE - Graduate attackman Jordan Greenfield became the first Marquette University men's lacrosse player to earn national weekly accolades after a six-goal outburst in the Golden Eagles' 11-10 overtime win at Richmond on Sunday.

Greenfield was named the Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week on Tuesday after winning an online fan ballot and followed that up with USILA Division I Offensive Player of the Week honors on Wednesday. He was also named BIG EAST Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Trailing 8-4 entering the fourth quarter, Greenfield propelled the Golden Eagles with three goals in the frame to help Marquette force overtime. The Dover, Massachusetts native sent No. 17/16 Marquette to 3-0 on the season when he potted his first shot of the overtime period past Richmond goalie Benny Pugh.
