Leading the SJU offensive attack are Pat Swanick (14pts, 10g, 4a) and Michael Dougherty (12pts, 7g, 5a). Swanick boasts a .476 shots percentage and Dougherty has all three of the Hawk's game-winning goals having played in six of the team's seven games.

Defensively, the Hawks have allowed just 8.43 goals per game, which currently ranks No. 15 in NCAA Division I, while holding their opponents to a .280 conversion percentage on man-up offense.

Led by attackman Bryan Badolato, who scored five second-half goals, Marquette rallied from a pair of three-goal deficits to defeat Mercer 14-11 Tuesday at the Moye Football/Lacrosse Complex. MU also held the Bears scoreless for a 21-minute stretch in the final half.

Marquette began its road trip last week with a flight to Florida, where the Golden Eagles dropped a 13-7 decision at Jacksonville University last Saturday. The team then boarded a bus to Mercer and defeated the Bears 14-11 on Tuesday before continuing up the East Coast, including an overnight stop in Raleigh/Durham, N.C. to practice Thursday at Duke University.
