MILWAUKEE -- The Marquette University men's lacrosse team will make one last stop on the East Coast to play its final road game of the season this Saturday, April 27. MU and St. John's are set to faceoff at noon Central time (1 p.m. ET) at DaSilva Memorial Field.

Live coverage will be available in the form of an audio-only Internet broadcast on RedStormSports.com, courtesy of Stormtracker All-Access. Live stats will also be broadcast on GoMarquette.com by clicking on the Gametracker link.

Marquette (5-6) extended its season-best win streak to three games Tuesday with a dramatic 9-8 overtime win at Bellarmine. A victory Saturday would get Marquette back to .500 for the first time since the beginning of the season. Meanwhile, a Red Storm victory on "Senior Day" would give St. John's its highest win total (9) in a season since the program was reinstated in 2005.

MU, which has traveled more miles this season than any other team in NCAA Division I, is 4-5 in road games heading into Saturday's matchup at St. John's. The Golden Eagles have won two straight away from home, including the win at Bellarmine earlier this week; the current win streak began with a 14-6 win at High Point. Marquette opened the 2013 season with nine straight games away from Milwaukee.

Saturday's contest marks the final game of the regular season for St. John's (8-4), which is coming off of a 16-13 win at Providence. The Johnnies are 3-2 at home this season. They had won two straight at DaSilva Memorial Field prior to a 13-11 setback vs. Villanova on April 13. St. John's is led by Tewaaraton Award candidate Kieran McArdle who is second in NCAA Division I in points per game (6.58) and assists (3.92/game).

Marquette and St. John's are two of the five schools set to play in the new BIG EAST Conference beginning in spring 2014. MU, which is an independent in 2013, played future league opponent Georgetown (L, 12-17) earlier this season. Other BIG EAST conference foes will include Villanova and Providence.

Marquette returns to Milwaukee Saturday night and will begin preparations for the regular season finale on May 5 when the Golden Eagles are set to host the Duke Blue Devils (noon CT) in a live-televised game at Hart Park in Waukesha, Wis.
