NEW YORK – Marquette University junior attackman Ryan McNamara was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon following a career-best seven point effort at No. 1 Denver on Saturday.

McNamara had his sixth hat trick of the season against the Pioneers and set new career highs in points (7) and assists (4). The Eagan, Minnesota native’s goal with 6:34 remaining in the opening quarter was the 100th point of his career, making him just the second player in MU program history to hit the mark.

It is the seventh weekly league honor of the year for McNamara.

The Golden Eagles (9-4, 4-1 BIG EAST) sit 19th in both national polls and are 15th in the latest NCAA RPI rankings.
