June 6, 2017

The presence of Marquette men's lacrosse in the Major League Lacrosse has grown substantially over the past year as the first four-year players in program history have moved on to the professional ranks. Last year's seniors have worked to solidify themselves in the MLL, while a pair of newcomers were added to MU's pro roster as Ryan McNamara and Andy DeMichiei were each selected in the league's collegiate draft over Memorial Day weekend.

Here's a look at MU's current MLL roster:

  • Invited to try out for 2018 U.S. Lacrosse Men's National Team

  • Lone loss in 2017 came against Gately's Rattlers on May 27 by one goal, 16-15

He would be the second former MU player to be a member of a Champions Cup winner, joining Tyler Melnyk, who captured a title with the Rush in 2015. Though he's on the practice squad, he would be the first American on an NLL champion since 2011.
  • Played in two regular season games as part of a Swarm squad that went an NLL-best 13-5 during the regular season. This year marked his first box lacrosse experience.
