At Marquette: A three-year letterwinner at Marquette, Beil was a three time St. Louis Suburban West All-Conference First Team selection. He was his league's two time defender of the year while serving as team captain and earning MVP honors. His team was ranked as high as no. 4 in his senior year and as a junior, Marquette was a state quarterfinalist. He played club soccer for the Busch Soccer Club, helping his team to a pair of state title match appearances. Beil also played basketball and tennis at Marquette. He was a member of the National Honor Society, the Math Honor Chord recipient and was a Presidential Award for Academic Excellence winner.
