2007: Bjelic played in only two contests during the 2007 season. He started the regular season opener at Denver (Aug. 31). He also played in the home match versus UW-Green Bay (Sept. 9). 2006: Bjelic transitioned into the Louis Bennett system well. He was a dependable defensive midfielder. Bjelic earned a pair of starts in his 11 matches. He was in the starting 11 against Green Bay (Sept. 5) and in the DePaul (Sept. 8) contest. 2005: Bjelic played in nine matches as a freshman. He made his collegiate debut against St. Francis (Pa.) (Sept. 11). He saw more action as the season progressed, becoming a regular substitute as the season wound down. Prior to Marquette: Bjelic was part of two Marquette High School teams that won state championships. He also helped guide the Hilltoppers to a state runner-up position in his senior year. As a senior, he was team MVP and was second team all-conference. He earned all-region and all-conference honors in three seasons. He also was part of a 3-on-3 team that won a national championship in Orlando in 2005. Personal: Born February 13, 1986, in Zenica, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bjelic is the son of Jovo and Ruza Bjelic.
