Marquette Soccer Adds Three at Semester

Two transfers, first member of 2013 class join MU

2013: Named one of the top-five most impactful transfers in NCAA Division I by TopDrawerSoccer.com, after transferring into Marquette from Ohio State in January.

Prior to Marquette: Wahl played the 2011 and 2012 seasons at Ohio State ... During his time with the Buckeyes, Wahl started in 33 of 36 games played, while tallying six points on a goal and four assists ... In 2012, TopDrawerSoccer.com had Wahl ranked No. 86 in its "National Top 100 Upperclassmen" list and the No. 8 player in its "Mid-season Big Ten Player Rankings" ... He was named to the 2011 Big Ten All-Freshman Team after appearing in all 19 matches and helped the team to a 10-7-2 overall record ... Three-time letterwinner at Geneva High School (Ill.), while helping the team reach three straight regional championships ... 2010 NCCAA All-American, three-time all-conference performer, two-time all-state honoree and back-to-back Beacon News Player of the Year ... Played his club career with the Chicago Fire Academy (2010-current) and Campton United (2000-10), alongside current Marquette players Bryan Ciesiulka (Chicago Fire Academy) and Charlie Lyon (Campton United) ... Wahl's 2010 Campton United club captured the Illinois State Cup championship.
