2005: Dahlquist was one of Marquette's most dependable players on both ends of the field in 2005. He was fifth on the team in shots with 16 and made significant contributions on the defensive end. He played in all 17 matches and was one of six players to start all 17. He tallied one goal on the year, netting a strike in a 3-1 loss against West Virginia (Oct. 29).
2004: Dahlquist led the midfield for Marquette as he started in all but one match. He earned Third Team All-Conference USA honors for his play. The sophomore played with toughness every match as he played nearly every minute of every game. Dahlquist recorded an assist in a 2-0 win at Drake (Sept. 17). Although his contributions didn't always show up on the stat sheet, Dahlquist was a key member of the 2004 team.
2003: Dahlquist played in 15 matches as a freshman. He scored one goal, netting Marquette's second in a 3-2 loss to UAB (Sept. 27). Dahlquist also had two assists on the season, aiding in scores against in back-to-back matches. He had an assist against Memphis (Oct. 4) and against Wright State (Oct. 7), both Marquette victories.
Prior to Marquette: Dahlquist came to Marquette from Conant High School in Schaumburg, Ill. He also played for the Chicago Sockers club team. Dahlquist was a 2002 High School All-America selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He also was a first team all-midwest region and all-state selection. He was named to the 2002 all-area team by the Daily Herald and by the Chicago Sun Times. He was a four year varsity letterwinner, was a five year ODP state team member and a two year ODP Region II team member. He was also a member of the 2001 state championship winning club team.
Personal: Bryan Mitchell Dahlquist was born on August 5, 1985, in Hoffman Estates, Ill. He is the son of Denise Dahlquist and has three sisters and a brother. He majored in computer sciences.
