Emily Jacobson enters her third season as Assistant Director of Sports Performance at Marquette University. Jacobson's primary focus is on volleyball and men's and women's soccer.

Prior to Marquette, Jacobson was a Graduate Assistant at Arizona State University working with men's and women's basketball, women's soccer, wrestling, softball, men's ice hockey, indoor and sand volleyball, water polo, gymnastics, and cross country.

Jacobson received her master's degree in higher and post-secondary education from Arizona State University in 2015 and her bachelor's degree in exercise physiology with a minor in Spanish for the health professions from Marquette University in 2014.

Jacobson was also a member of the Marquette women's soccer team from 2010-13, and was named First Team All-BIG EAST during her senior season. She also exceled in the classroom while at Marquette, garnering Second Team NSCAA Scholar All-American honors in 2013, and being named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in 2012 and 2013.

Jacobson is from Shorewood, Wisconsin. She has a twin sister, Cara, who also played soccer at Marquette and younger sister, Allison, who currently plays on the women's soccer team at Marquette.
