2013: Won the team's 2013 Man of the Year award by exemplifying the values of Marquette Soccer and the university ... Did not play this season ... Was sidelined early on with a knee injury.

2012:BIG EAST All-Academic Team ...Has appeared in six matches this season on the MU backline ... Played a season-high 55 minutes in MU's 5-0 win over DePaul (Sept. 22) .. Captain of the Chicago Inferno PDL in its inaugural season, starting every game.

2011:Named MU's Most Improved player ... BIG EAST All-Academic Team ... Played in 10 games at MU as a redshirt freshman and made seven starts.

2010:Redshirted his freshman year at Marquette.

Prior to Marquette:Attended Kettle Moraine High School ... Earned all-conference recognition as a junior and senior, as well as all-area and all-state honors his senior season ... As a sophomore, helped Kettle Moraine earn its first-ever berth to the Wisconsin state championship tournament ... Led Kettle Moraine to a regional championship in 2008 and 2009 ... Captained the squad his senior year ... Played at FC Milwaukee, where he helped lead the U-18 squad to the USSDA playoffs for the first time in club history, under the direction of Rob Harrington as well as Mark Lambrecht ... Played under past MU associate head coach Stan Anderson as a member of the Wisconsin ODP team, earning a spot on the state team in 2008 and 2009 as well as the regional team in 2009 ... Also played basketball in high school ... Voted "all-star" at High School Boys Preseason Soccer Super Camp in 2008 and 2009...Selected to participate in 2010 Wisconsin Masonic Soccer Foundation Senior All-Star game

Personal:Born Jan. 16, 1992 ... Son of John and Kathy Mau ... Has younger siblings, Joseph and Lauren ... majoring in business administration ... Brother Joseph plays soccer at the University of St. Thomas (Minn.).
