MU To Host The Wisconsin Spring Cup

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's soccer team will host the Division I Wisconsin Spring Cup on Sunday, May 1 at Valley Fields. The tournament will feature every NCAA Division I men's soccer program in the state, which includes Wisconsin, Milwaukee and Green Bay.


The Spring Cup will get underway at 9:30 a.m. with the sixth annual Bob Summy Memorial Match between Marquette and Milwaukee on the grass field. Wisconsin will take on Green Bay at 10 a.m. on the Field Turf in the other opening round game. 


The winners from each match will meet at 2 p.m. on the grass field to decide the champion, while the consolation match is set for 1:30 p.m on the turf field.


Games will be two 35-minute halves and will go to penalty kicks after 70 minutes of regulation if the match ends in a draw. 


Parking and admission is free to all fans.
