Marquette Soccer Represented Well Throughout PDL

May 31, 2018

MILWAUKEE – Following a successful spring campaign, seven members of the Marquette University men’s soccer team have signed on with summer league clubs to continue their development leading up to the 2018 fall season.

Four members compete for Chicago FC United, which is coached by former long-time Marquette assistant and current US Soccer Development Academy scout, Steve Bode, while all are on teams affiliated with the Premier Development League (PDL).

Patrick Seagrist joined the reigning PDL champions, Charlotte Eagles, and already has a goal and two assists through three matches. He was named to the USL PDL Eastern Conference Team of the Week after contributing a goal and an assist in a season-opening win over the Myrtle Beach Mutiny.

Luka Prpa, who competed for OKC Energy U23 last season, has joined Chicago FC United and was recently selected among USL PDL Top-20 prospects. He ranks as the only BIG EAST player within the top-20 prospects, while Butler features two players between Nos. 25-40.

Below is the full list of Marquette players competing on summer league teams with links to their clubs’ Twitter accounts, so fans can follow along with their progress all summer long.
