Aug. 4, 2017

MILWAUKEE - Head coach Louis Bennett has announced the final piece to Marquette's talented 2017 incoming class with the addition of Jason Davis to the squad just ahead of the team's first preseason training session next week.

"Jason is a point forward, who will bring experience and size to our talented, but young 2017 squad," Bennett said.

The Birmingham, U.K., native possesses great size and speed with his 6-foot-5, 225-pound frame. Davis is the 10th newcomer for Marquette ahead of the 2017 season, joining six freshmen and three additional transfers.

He is set to begin his postgraduate work at Marquette University, enrolling into the Master of Business Administration program upon earning an engineering degree in sports technology from Loughborough University in his native United Kingdom.

His prior experience includes time as a youth trainee for English Championship side Burton Albion FC before his most recent contributions with the elite program at Loughborough University.

The Golden Eagles are set to open preseason camp on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
