Marquette Set For Home-Opening Weekend
Sept. 4, 2014
MU is looking for its first victory of the season after dropping a pair of close matches last weekend at the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic in Bloomington, Indiana. The Golden Eagles narrowly lost to the defending national champion, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 2-1 at Bill Armstrong Stadium. C. Nortey netted the lone goal for MU from a David Selvaggi assist. Two days later, MU was shutout in a 1-0 loss to No. 12 Indiana.
