MILWAUKEE - The nationally ranked Marquette University men's soccer team seeks its fourth straight win this Sunday, Sept. 15 when the Golden Eagles (3-1-1) host Michigan State in the final leg of the 2013 BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge. Kickoff against the Spartans (2-1-0) is set for 3:05 p.m. Central time at Valley Fields.

Marquette, ranked as high as No. 16 in this week's polls, can go unbeaten in the BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge for the third year in a row with a victory or a draw on Sunday. MU got past the Michigan Wolverines with a 1-0 win on the road Friday night as Eric Pothast's 90th-minute volley proved to be the difference in the match.

Sjoberg's Header Lifts No. 17/13 Marquette Past Michigan St., 2-1
For the second time in as many games it was redshirt freshman Axel Sjoberg who netted to game-winning goal, lifting the No. 17/13 Marquette University men's soccer team a 2-1 double-overtime victory over Michigan State at DeMartin Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Any fan who shows a church bulletin (dated the week of Sept. 7-15, 2013) will receive free admission at the gate. There will also be a "Residence Hall Challenge" contest for MU students, in addition to "High School Team Night" festivities.

Capacity for home men's and women's soccer matches at Valley Fields this fall is capped at 500 fans until the ongoing stadium project is finished in early October.

Single-game and season tickets can be ordered in advance online at GoMarquette.com/tickets. Purchase of 2013 season tickets includes a Marquette soccer scarf and admission to all home men's and women's soccer matches.

Admission at the gate is $5 for adults ($3 for youth age 18 and younger). Student with a Marquette I.D. get in free.

Also, please note that live audio/video streaming will not be available for Marquette men's and women's soccer home matches until construction to the Valley Fields press box has been completed. All home matches feature live stats by locating the Gametracker link on GoMarquette.com.
