MILWAUKEE -- Back from its recent two-game road trip, tonight Marquette returns to Valley Fields to host No. 9/6 UIC in non-conference men's soccer action. Kick off against the Flames is set for 7:05 p.m.

UIC is undefeated with a 7-0-2 overall record. Meanwhile, Marquette (2-3-3) is coming off its first BIG EAST win of the campaign, defeating Cincinnati 1-0, and can move back to .500 with a win over the Flames.

Tonight's match marks the third top-10 team the Golden Eagles will have played in the team's first nine games. As of Sept. 28, UIC ranked third in NCAA Division I in scoring offense, averaging 2.67 goals per game.

MU owns a 4-2-1 all-time record against the Flames. Last season, UIC (then ranked No. 25 in the country) defeated the Golden Eagles 3-1 in Chicago. Marquette is 3-0 all-time against the Flames at Valley Fields.

Head coach Louis Bennett is 6-5-2 in his career versus UIC, a member of the Horizon League, including a 6-4-2 mark during his tenure at UW-Milwaukee (1996-2005).

Tonight's promotion recognizes "KIck For Kenya," a 3-versus-3 barefoot soccer tournament, beginning at 4 p.m. at Valley Fields.
