MILWAUKEE -- The Marquette University men's soccer team is set to host Seton Hall in a BIG EAST fixture at Valley Fields this Saturday, Oct. 11. Marquette (2-5-3, 1-4-1 BIG EAST) and the Pirates will kick off at 7:05 p.m.

Marquette is coming off back-to-back 1-0 losses to No. 9/6 UIC and Pittsburgh. Saturday's home match marks the first of five consecutive contests the Golden Eagles will play in Milwaukee, as the squad looks to redeem last year's 5-1 loss to the Pirates.

Junior goalkeeper Matt Pyzdrowski and the MU defense will have their hands full going head-to-head with one of the top offenses in the BIG EAST. Sophomore forward Samuel Petrone leads the league with nine goals this season, pacing a Pirates' offense that ranks second in the BIG EAST in goals (1.73) and points (5.18) per game.

Seton Hall is coming off a 1-1 draw at Georgetown on Wednesday. The Pirates defeated Providence, 3-2, in overtime last Saturday. Their other conference win came at Villanova on Sept. 26.

Seton Hall owns a 3-0 advantage in the all-time series with Marquette. The two times have met each year since MU joined the BIG EAST in 2005. The Golden Eagles have been outscored by a margin of 11-3 in those three matches, including last year's lopsided loss.

The game will be broadcast live via streaming audio courtesy of Marquette Radio (WMUR).
