Freshman (2005-06) -- Fleming, in his first season was fourth on the team in wins with an overall record of 15-8 for the season. Earned a 9-3 mark in the spring playing primarily at no. 6 singles. Posted a 6-3 record at six singles, 2-0 mark at no. 5 singles and 1-0 at no. 2 singles. Matched Brett Binkley for the most conference wins with six. Registered an 8-6 doubles record with four different doubles partners throughout the season including Binkley, Kawas, Servoss and Van Lieshout. Played four doubles matches in the spring going 3-1 overall. Fleming teamed up with Binkley, mostly in the fall, and posted a 5-4 overall record.
Prior to Marquette -- Fleming was a four-year letter winner at Brookline High School playing both tennis and basketball. He received such awards as Boston Globe and Boston Herald Tennis Scholastic junior and senior years, Brookline MVP 2003 and 2004 as well as playing on the New England USTA Junior Davis Cup team in 2004.
Personal -- One of Russ and Bridgette Fleming's three children. He has an older sister, Erin, and a younger sister Marie. Born May 25, 1987, he has yet to declare a major.
