Career: On pace to become the program's all-time leader in career singles victories (78) ... currently owns 61 wins in just two years of action.

2008-09 (Junior) - Named MU's Most Valuable Performer for the second-straight season ... All-BIG EAST selection ... posted an overall singles record of 31-9, including a 20-6 mark in dual match action ... led the team in victories for the second-straight year ... collected a total of 19 doubles wins ... teamed up with Stephen Shao to earn a 13-5 overall record ... duo was 8-3 in dual matches at No. 2 and 3-0 at the No. 1 spot ... combination of Medan/Shao owns 19 wins, the fifth-best total in school history ... concluded the campaign with 11-straight singles wins ... each of the victories was a straight-set decision ... claimed Flight "A" singles title at Purdue Invitational ... didn't drop a set the entire weekend ... also won the Flight "A" championship at the MU Fall Invitational ... opened dual match schedule with four-straight wins ... posted a perfect 6-0 record against opponents from fellow BIG EAST programs ... earned three victories at No. 2 singles in the conference championship ... earned second letter.

2007-08 (Sophomore) - Medan claimed the program's Most Valuable Player Award. He accounted for 48 total victories, including a 30-10 record in singles action. He led the team in singles victories and was 16-6 in dual match competition. His dual-match win total was a team-high along with Niko Boulieris. Medan saw a majority of his action at No. 2 singles, where he was 14-4 overall. He opened his MU career with four-straight wins and was 13-4 during the Fall portion of the campaign. He claimed the Flight "A" title at the MU Fall Invitational. His dual match season was highlighted by six-straight wins and a 10-match run that saw him claim nine victories. He posted a pair of wins in the BIG EAST Championship against Villanova and St. John's. Medan was 13-5 in dual match doubles outings, including seven wins in the final eight matchups of the season. He earned his first letter at MU.

Prior to Marquette -- Member of the Troy University men's tennis team in 2006-07, where by posted overall records of 11-2 in singles and 8-9 in doubles action. Concluded the season with an 8-3 victory over a nationally ranked opponent in the Sun Belt Conference Championship. Saw action at all three doubles positions, but his primary singles slot was No. 3 in dual matchups. Attended Ugostitelisko Turisticka Skola, graduating in 2005.

Personal -- Born August 26, 1986 in Nis, Serbia. Son of Branislav and Mirjana Medan. Has one sister, Ivana (24). Majoring in economics.
