Senior (2001) -- Played in just one match in the fall, going 0-1 in doubles with Kent Davies.

Junior (2000-01) -- Earned a 3-8 mark in the fall and teamed with Frank Rigo in doubles to finish the semester at 1-3. He struggled with injuries in the spring, playing in just one match, a win at the no. 6 spots in dual match play.

Sophomore (1999-2000) -- Went 6-7 in singles and had a 3-8 doubles.

Prior to Marquette -- Team captain and No. 1 singles player for Bloomfield Hills Lahser. He was named all-county, all-area, all-league and all-state where he reached the state quarterfinals all four years. He was selected to play in the Davis Cup for southeastern Michigan. He was ranked No. 39 in the Midwest Region in the under-18 division in his first year of under 18s competition. He reached as high as 20th in the midwest.

Personal -- One of Michael and JoAnne Thomas' three children. Was born on May 22, 1980, and he is majoring in finance and marketing.
