Milwaukee - The Marquette University men's tennis team (7-2) increased its winning streak to five matches with a 4-3 non-conference win over visiting Dartmouth (2-1) Friday afternoon at the Helfaer Tennis & Recreation Center. The Golden Eagles wrap up their season-long six-match homestand Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. versus No. 37 Arizona State.

After being swept in all three doubles matches, MU rallied for the victory with a solid performance in singles play.

"I thought the guys did a good job of quickly turning the momentum around with singles," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "Dartmouth is a quality opponent with some very competitive players."

Sophomore Dusan Medan knotted the score at 1-1 with a quick 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles and junior Stephen Shao quickly followed suit with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Justin Tzou at the No. 3 spot.

After senior Brett Binkley claimed a win at No. 6, sophomore Niko Boulieris clinched the win with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 decision over Dartmouth's Ari Gayer.
