Marquette Drops 5-2 Decision At No. 44 Minnesota

The Marquette University men's tennis team (5-2) dropped a 5-2 decision at No. 44 Minnesota Saturday night in non-conference action from Rochester, Minn. With the defeat, the Golden Eagles saw their five-match winning streak ended by the Gophers. All five of the wins came at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium and MU is still in search of its first road victory in 2012-13. Minnesota claimed the doubles point with wins at the No.2 and No. 3 positions. Earning singles victories for Marquette were sophomore Cameron Tehrani at the No. 4 spot and freshman Gleb Sklyr at the No. 5 spot. MU returns to action Wednesday night at Wisconsin at 6 p.m. CT.
