Marquette Drops 6-1 Decision At No. 64 Purdue

The Marquette University men’s tennis team (4-4) dropped a 6-1 non-conference decision at No. 64 Purdue (10-1) Saturday afternoon.
The Boilermakers claimed a pair of doubles matchups for the opening points and only junior Kristiyan Trukov was able to claim a singles win for the Golden Eagles. He posted a 6-4, 6-3 decision over Lucas Dages at the No. 4 position.
Marquette returns to action Feb. 27 at rival Wisconsin. First serve is set for 6 p.m. CT.
