The Marquette University men's tennis team (8-3) capped a three-match homestand with a 7-0 non-conference victory over IPFW (3-9) Sunday afternoon at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

The Golden Eagles will now hit the East Coast for four-straight dual match contests on the road, including stops at Harvard and Old Dominion. MU doesn't return home until facing Valparaiso on March 21.

Marquette swept all three doubles matchups with the Mastodons on Sunday and didn't drop a set in singles action.

Senior Trent Hagan collected victories at No. 1 singles and doubles and is now 6-3 on the year in dual match singles play. He downed Hermann Kuschke 6-1, 6-0 to earn the win. Junior Dusan Medan claimed a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Felipe Gama at the No. 2 spot and now tops the roster with an 8-3 dual mark.

MU returns to action March 8 at Harvard.
