No. 70 Marquette Falls 6-1 To No. 47 Hawai'i In Las Vegas

The No. 70 Marquette University men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 47 Hawai'i Saturday afternoon in non-conference action from Las Vegas, Nevada. The Golden Eagles dropped the doubles point for the first time all season and only Dusan Medan was able to post a singles victory. The senior downed Dennis Lajola 7-5, 2-6, 6-2. MU also came up short in a pair of three-set matches, with freshmen Jacob Straus and Otavio Perim unable to pick up points at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, respectively.
Marquette wraps up its three-match road swing Sunday afternoon against No. 71 UNLV.
