MU-UCI Box Score  | MU-Pacific Box Score

The Marquette University men's tennis team (7-9) wrapped up play at the 2012 Hilton San Diego Mission Valley Spring Classic Friday afternoon with a pair of matches against UC-Irvine and Pacific.

The Golden Eagles dropped a 4-0 decision to UCI before finishing the day with a 4-2 victory over Pacific. Because of potential weather concerns in the area, only singles competition was played and once one team claimed four points, the remaining matches were suspended.

Claiming singles victories against Pacific for the Golden Eagles were Jose Carlos Gutierrez Crowley, Logon Collins, Cameron Tehrani and Drake Kakar. The win snapped a four-match winning streak for Marquette.

Marquette returns to the courts on March 23 at the Boise State Spring Classic.
