The Marquette University men’s tennis team (8-6) wrapped up a two-match road swing in Florida Friday afternoon with 5-2 non-conference loss against Winthrop (9-5) in Jacksonville.

The Golden Eagles opened the match by dropping two of the three doubles matches and fell behind 1-0. Sophomore Otavio Perim and junior Jonathan Schwerin each captured singles decisions for Marquette, winning at the No. 4 and No. 6 positions, respectively.
