The Marquette University men's tennis team (13-8) rallied for a 4-3 victory over rival DePaul (8-13) Saturday afternoon on the road.

The Golden Eagles trailed 3-1 at one point during the match, but were able to pull out the last three singles matchups (all in the third set) to secure the team victory. Freshman Nick Dykema was the hero on Saturday evening, clinching the decision with a 7-6 win in the third set at No. 4 singles.

"I am obviously very happy with the way the guys competed today," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "DePaul has been playing very well lately and are extremely difficult to face at home. I am hopeful we can carry this momentum into next weekend and the league tournament."

The Blue Demons claimed the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, forcing the Golden Eagles to claim four singles wins. MU's bottom four spots in the lineup responded and along with Dykema, senior Logon Collins, junior Cameron Tehrani and freshman Kristiyan Trukov all earned victories.

The Golden Eagles will conclude the regular season next weekend with a pair of matches at home, facing Creighton (April 18) and Butler (April 20) at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
