MU To Play For Singles, Doubles Titles At Purdue Invite

The Marquette University men’s tennis team continued play Saturday at the 2014 Purdue Fall Invitational with singles and doubles competition.
The day’s action was highlighted by the doubles effort of sophomore Kristiyan Trukov and freshman Andre Romanello, who will play for the Flight B championship on Sunday morning. The duo claimed a pair of wins on Saturday and will face a tandem from Chicago St. for the title.
Trukov also had a successful day in singles competition and will face Alex Woldmoe of Butler for the Flight D crown at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. The Gurnee, Ill., native earned the Flight E championship as a freshman in 2013.
