Teofanovic Still Alive In ITA All-American Pre-Qualifying Draw

Sophomore Vukasin Teofanovic of the Marquette University men's tennis team claimed a pair of wins Saturday afternoon at the ITA All-American in Tulsa, Okla., and remains alive in the pre-qualifying draw.
Teofanovic will return to action Sunday morning at 9 a.m. CT.
The Novi Sad, Serbia, native is attempting to earn a spot in the event's qualifying draw. He opened the day be defeating Joey Swaysland of Texas 6-4, 6-4 and followed that up with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Mario Urquidi of Arizona.
Junior Logon Collins, a native of Tulsa, also competed in the pre-qualifying draw on Saturday. He won his opening match before falling in the second round in a tough three-set decision.
The remainder of the squad wrapped up play Saturday at the 34th Annual Ball State Fall Invitational. Both freshman Javier Varela Hernani and sophomore James Stark were defeated in the quarterfinals of the Flight B singles draw and MU also went down in doubles action.
