The Marquette University men’s tennis team wrapped up play at the ITA Midwest Regional Saturday afternoon at Ohio State with singles action.

Senior Dan Mamalat, who advanced to the round of 32 with a straight-set win on Friday, fell to Mihir Kumar of Northwestern 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 to end his main draw run.

Junior Vukasin Teofanovic, who dropped his opening matchup Friday afternoon, collected a hard-fought 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 win over Michigan’s Shaun Bernstein at the Varsity Tennis Center in consolation action.

Mamalat and Teofanovic were defeated Friday evening in doubles action by a duo from Northwestern.
