The Marquette University men’s tennis team wrapped up play at the 2012 ITA Midwest Regional Saturday afternoon in East Lansing, Mich.

Marquette’s day was highlighted by the doubles tandem of junior Logon Collins and sophomore Cameron Tehrani. The duo downed Notre Dame’s Michael Moore and Wyatt McCoy 8-3 before falling in the quarterfinals to Michigan’s Michael Zhu and Alex Petrone by a score of 8-5.

“Logon and Cameron had a good tournament and I am excited by the iprovement they have made as a team,” head coach Steve Rodecap said.

In consolation main draw singles action, Tehrani and Collins both picked up victories. Junior Dan Mamalat and sophomore Vukasin Teofanovic both dropped their respective matches.

The Golden Eagles continue their 2012-13 campaign this weekend at Northwestern.
