The Marquette University men's tennis team continued play at the Wildcat Invite Saturday afternoon with singles and doubles competition at Northwestern University.

The Golden Eagle duo of junior Dan Mamalat and sophomore Vukasin Teofanovic will play for the Flight A doubles title on Sunday after defeating a tandem from Arkansas by a score of 8-1. This weekend marks just the second time this year Mamalat and Teofanovic have played together. MU will face a squad from host Northwestern Sunday morning for the championship.

In singles action, both Mamalat and Teofanovic also advanced to the semifinals of the main draw. Mamalat downed Ross VanderPloeg of Western Michigan 6-2, 6-2 and Teofanovic defeated Toledo's Tomas Stillman 7-6, 7-6.

Also picking up a singles victory was sophomore James Stark, who defeated Western Michigan's Jim Beckwith 6-3, 7-6.

Marquette wraps up play at the tourney Sunday.
