The Marquette University men's tennis team readies for another series of competition on its home courts this weekend at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

MU takes on IPFW at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 and Green Bay at noon on Sunday, Feb. 22 Central time.

The Golden Eagles (4-5) look to continue their undefeated record at home after returning from a 5-2 loss at Wisconsin Wednesday night. Daniel Fernandez and Vukasin Teofanovic notched the two victories against the Badgers at the No. 1 and 2 singles spots, respectively.

Fernandez boasts a four-match winning streak in singles action and holds the best record on the team (7-3) in MU's last ten matches.

Teofanovic defeated the Badgers Jakhongir Jalalov 6-4, 6-2 to extend his own singles winning streak to three.

IPFW (4-4) enters the competition after defeating Wright State away 5-2. The Mastodons' Andres Cobos has etched a 6-2 record in singles and perfect 6-0 mark at the No. 2 doubles with Daniel Cardenas for the spring. The last time the MU played IPFW was back in 2009 at home, with MU claiming a 7-0 win.

Green Bay's (7-3) latest win came against fellow BIG EAST member, DePaul. The Phoenix's 5-2 victory over the Blue Demons adds to the squad's current five-match win streak. Joey Leto has not lost at the No. 3, 4 and 5 singles spots in the last five. Since 2009, MU has encountered the Phoenix four times, earning wins in all meetings. Last year, Teofanovic, Cameron Tehrani, Kristiyan Trukov and Nick Dykema contributed to the squad's 5-2 victory at home.
