Marquette Hosts SDSU Saturday At 6 p.m. CT

The Marquette University men’s tennis team will bring in South Dakota State University for its last home match until the end of March.

First serve will be at 6 p.m. Central time on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

Marquette (6-2) went 1-1 last week with a loss against Wisconsin and a victory over Toledo. The win put head coach Steve Rodecap at the top of MU’s all-time win list with 204.

The Golden Eagles will work to keep their undefeated home steak alive against SDSU (0-6). Greg Anderson has been solid for MU starting his season 6-1 in singles at various flights. The doubles side is highlighted with three pairings going 4-2 for the spring season: Brett Meyers and Alvaro Verdu, Greg Anderson and Luis Heredia Gomez, Scott Christian and Luke Smrek.

Marquette will start its six-match road swing the following weekend in Indiana against University of Indiana and IUPUI.
