The Marquette University men's tennis team (9-6) opens a busy weekend Friday afternoon with the first of three-straight days of action in Boise Idaho.

The Golden Eagles will take on Montana, Boise State and Utah State on consecutive days of dual-match competition. MU opens play at 1 p.m. CT on Friday. Following this weekend's action, Marquette will play four of its final five regular season matches at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

"We will be looking to rebound after what I feel our team believes was a disappointing Las Vegas trip," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "I like the character of this group and feel confident that our level will continue to get better and we can continue to grow as a team.

"The Boise trip will be a big test for us and will feel like a year-end tournament in which we will play three matches in three days," Rodecap added. "It will be demanding physically, but that is something we have trained hard for the entire year."
