Men's Tennis Travels To ITA Midwest Regional This Weekend

Junior Otavio Perim will compete in singles and doubles.

The Marquette University men's tennis team heads to the campus of Ohio State University for the USTA/ITA Midwest Regionals from October 13-17. The event will take place at the Varsity Tennis Center and Jesse Owens West courts.

Marquette will send sophomores Dan Mamalat and Logon Collins to the event, along with junior Otavio Perim and freshman Vukasin Teofanovic. Mamalat leads the Golden Eagles with a 7-2 singles record this season. Perim (seeded 12th) and Teofanovic will open play in the qualifying draw on Thursday, hoping to earn a spot in the main bracket. Mamalat and Collins were placed in the main draw and must await the qualifying draw winners before opening singles action.

The Golden Eagles will also feature the doubles tandems of Perim/Mamalat and Teofanovic/Collins.

The event features 21 teams from throughout the Midwest.
