Milwaukee - The Marquette University men's tennis team will travel to Evanston, Ill., to compete in the Wildcat Invitational this weekend (Oct. 15-17), hosted by Northwestern University.

The host Wildcats will welcome a seven-team field, which consists of DePaul, Iowa, Marquette, Purdue, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.

The tournament will feature three flights (A, B, and C) of singles play. A superbreaker third set rule will be implemented to help with the flow of matches.

Freshman Logan Collins will look to continue his winning streak this weekend after claiming the title in his respective bracket at the Ball State Invitational on Sept. 25.

Collins will be joined by six other Golden Eagles at the tournament: Dan Mamalat, Jose Manuel Munoz, Otavio Perim, Robin Ravel, Jonathan Schwerin and Thibault Troude.

Play will begin on Friday morning and continue through the weekend. All matches will be played indoors at the Combe Tennis Center.
