The Marquette University men's tennis team will be represented by two players at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional, hosted this weekend by Ohio State University.

Senior Dan Mamalat and junior Vukasin Teofanovic will compete in both singles and doubles competition beginning Thursday morning. Both players have earned spots in the main draw and will wait for the qualifying bracket to be completed prior to opening singles play.

"Both guys have earned the right to be included in the main draw," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "Each has collected a number of quality victories during his respective career and I am looking forward to seeing both advance well into the weekend."

Mamalat has been seeded 16th in the main draw and will open against Strong Kirschheimer of Northwestern and Teofanovic will take on sixth-seeded Vlad Stefan of Michigan.

The duo was also seeded 14th in the doubles bracket and will begin play versus the Wildcat tandem of Kirschmeier and Alberto Zanotti.
