MU Fall Invitational Draws/Results

The Marquette University men’s team continues the tournament portion of its 2008-09 campaign this weekend, hosting the MU Fall Invitational at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.

The Golden Eagles will host Ball State, UW-Green Bay, IUPUI, Northern Illinois and Wisconsin beginning Friday morning, with play concluding on Sunday. There will be two singles and doubles draws. The singles flights will both include 32 players, while eight tandems will be featured in the doubles draws.

Many of the programs participating are sending only a portion of their rosters this weekend. Marquette’s entire squad will compete in singles action, but only three doubles teams will see action.

Following this weekend’s action, MU will participate in the Texas Invitational (Oct. 31-Nov. 2) to conclude the Fall portion of its schedule.
