DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Marquette Golden Eagles went 0-3 at the Wendy's Classic Duals in Dubuque, Iowa on Sunday, January 14.

The first match pitted Marquette against Ohio State. The Buckeyes prevailed 45-3. The only Golden Eagle to see success was freshman Phil Bronsteatter who defeated Josh Daugherty, 6-0.

Bronsteatter was the only Golden Eagle to cherish victory on Sunday afternoon as he beat Purdue's Paul Sacquitne 10-5. Marquette, however, went on to drop the match to the Boilermakers 40-3.

Marquette ended the Classic with a 50-0 loss to the Michigan Wolverines.

Marquette will next be in action on January 20 with a doubleheader in Cedar Falls, Iowa. They will be pitted against Northern Iowa and Wyoming. Action will begin at 2:00 p.m.
