Danielle Armstrong (formerly McKenzie) is in her third year as an athletic trainer at Marquette and works with with the women's soccer and track and field teams along with serving as the insurance/billing coordinator.

The New Berlin, Wis., native earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Marquette in 2008. As a student she did rotations with the women's soccer, track and field and volleyball teams, as well as working with football at Concordia University of Wisconsin.

After Marquette, McKenzie earned a master's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training at Michigan State. While in East Lansing, McKenzie outreached to Lansing Sexton High School as a certified athletic trainer.

Armstrong and her husband, Chris, were married in July of 2012.
