2000-2001: Johnson has started every game of her career. Johnson hit 3-of-10 shots from the floor, including a three pointer, against Southern Utah for her then season high of eight. She logged a season high nine points in a 4-of-8 shooting night against Dayton. Followed up the Dayton effort with her second season high in as many games, scoring 10 points and five rebounds against Michigan. Johnson scored six points against Notre Dame on 2-of-7 shooting. She hit a season high 19 points, one off her career best, hitting 5-of-10 three pointers, keeping MU in the Louisville contest. She hit double figures for the third and fourth time during the season, scoring 12 against Charlotte and 10 against Tulane in the C-USA Tournament. She added four assists in the Charlotte game, the third time she dished four assists on the year.

1999-2000: Johnson was named the team's Outstanding Defensive Performer following the season. As one of two players to start all 29 contests, she primarily played the point, but was strong enough offensively to move over to shooting guard in certain sets. She sported averages of 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Johnson hit 34 percent of her three-point field goal attempts and 75 percent of her attempts from the line. She led the team in assists and three-point shooting while spearheading a Marquette defense that was among the nation's leaders in field goal percentage defense. Johnson led Marquette in scoring and rebounding once each. She opened the season with 12 points, four rebounds and six assists in a victory over Iowa. Against BYU, Johnson went 3-4 from three-point land for 13 points. She hit five three pointers and had 15 points, five rebounds and four assists at Syracuse. Johnson hit 10-12 free throws and tallied 10 points and a career-high nine rebounds versus Louisville. She matched her career-high with 20 points, on 6-8 three-point shooting, and also had five assists against Cincinnati. She scored 11 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished four assists at Southern Miss. Scoring 12 points, Johnson went 7-10 from the line at Cincinnati. She logged a season-high seven assists against Saint Louis. In the NCAA Tournament, Johnson scored 11 points, grabbed two rebounds and had three assists against Western Kentucky.

1998-99: Johnson took over on-the-court leadership duties from day one and never looked back. She started all 29 games at the pivotal point guard spot and earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors. Establishing herself as one of the top marksmen and clutch shooters in the league, Johnson was first freshman to start at the point for Marquette since the 1995-96 season. She averaged 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and a team-leading 3.7 assists per contest. She led the team with an 80.3 shooting percentage from the charity stripe. She also was among team and league leaders with a 35.5 percentage from behind the three-point arc. She made her collegiate debut against Loyola (Ill.) with seven points, two rebounds, four assists and two steals. Against Duke, she scored12 points, marking her first collegiate double-digit scoring game. She registered a career-high 20 points, going 5-7 from three-point land and 6-6 from the line, against Louisville. Johnson logged a career-high eight assists against UAB and grabbed career-high five boards to go along with four points and seven assists against Charlotte. She left the NCAA Tournament game against Kansas after suffering a broken maxilla bone on the left side of her face in a scramble for a loose ball.

High School (Holmen): Johnson finished her career with a school-record 1,566 points, averaging 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game as a senior. A four-year starter, she was All-Mississippi Valley Conference First Team following her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. An All-MVC Second Team as a freshman, she was also named all-region second team and all-tournament. Johnson was all-region first team and Vikings' Most Valuable Player in each of her sophomore, junior and senior years. An all-state as a sophomore and all-state second team as a junior and senior, Johnson was conference and region Player of the Year as a junior and senior. She scored 42 points in a game during her sophomore season to set a Holmen single-game mark. Holmen earned the Wisconsin Division II State Championship in 1995 as she led the Vikings to regional championships during all four of her seasons. Johnson was named the Vikings' MVP and an All-MVC First Team selection in softball in her sophomore through senior seasons. An MVC Player of the Year for softball as a senior, Johnson was also All-MVC First Team in volleyball as a junior and senior. She graduated with a 3.915 GPA. She was coached by Duane Vike.

Personal: Born May 31, 1980, Johnson is the daughter of Mary and Gary Johnson. She has two older brothers. Her father played golf and basketball for Wis.-La Crosse. She is a physician's assistant studies major.
