2002-2003

After a slow start against Dayton, Klug charged out of the gate, scoring 20 or more points in four of her next five contests. She scored 21 against Wis.-Milwaukee (Nov. 26) and then set a career high with 26 against Saint Francis (Pa.) (Nov. 30). She was 10-of-10 from the line against Saint Francis. She scored 20 in back-to-back games against Georgia State (Dec. 7) and La Salle (Dec. 16). Against Georgia State, she scored Marquette's first eight points in double overtime before fouling out. She earned all-tournament team honors for that feat.

Klug set a new career best with 28 points against Iowa State (Jan. 2). She was 12-of-20 against the Cyclones. That total came in a nine-game span where she was in double figures in points. In that stretch, she had her least productive scoring output against Wisconsin (Jan. 5), scoring just 10 points, but she grabbed 10 boards for her second double-double of the year.

Conference USA defenses were tougher on her in her final year. She as scored 10 or more points in eight of MU's 14 C-USA games. After a 16-point, 12 rebound game against Houston (Jan. 2), she was held under 10 points in consecutive games for the first time since the middle of the 2001-02 season. She scored just six against Tulane (Feb. 7) and eight against Southern Miss (Feb. 9). She surged in the C-USA Tournament, scoring 17 points against Memphis (March 6).

Klug led the team in field goal shooting at 51.4 percent. At one point during the season, she was Marquette's all-time leader in field goal percentage, hitting 56.7 percent of her career shots. She finished her career at 53.9 percent, trailing all-time leader Lisa Oldenburg by one tenth of a point.

2001-2002

Klug became Marquette's most significant offensive player last season. After not starting in the season opener, Klug earned three starts and averaged 10.0 points over those three games. In the final of those three starts, she started a string of seven double figure scoring games, capped by a career high 23 points against Dayton.

After missing the starting lineup against Michigan, she returned to the starting five for the remainder of the season. Two games after Dayton, she did not score against Notre Dame, but then responded with 20 in the victory over no. 20 Colorado State. She led the team in scoring 17 times and was the leading rebounder on 11 occasions.

She had five double doubles on the year, including 16 points and 11 boards against La Salle; 20 points and 11 caroms against Colorado State and 14 points and 10 rebounds against DePaul; and 16 points, 12 rebounds in the second meeting with the Blue Demons. Her last double double was at East Carolina in a 22 point, 13 rebound effort.

Klug was dependable down the stretch, averaging 14.6 points per game in MU's last five regular season games. She also was solid from the free throw line, hitting 83.3 percent in the last four regular season games. Klug finished 28th in the nation in field goal percentage with a team-leading 56.2.

2000-2001

Klug proved to be a valuable role player for the 2000-2001 season, earning four starts as matchups dictated. While seeing 10 minutes of action per game, Klug was one of the team's more accurate shooters, hitting 59.3 percent of her shots (she did not qualify for the team lead due to insufficient attempts). With a 3.1 points per game average, Klug finished the year ninth on the team in scoring.

In the season opener, Klug scored seven points against Iowa, hitting all three of her shots. After three games of two points, she tied her mark of seven against Syracuse. Klug added six points off the bench against BYU and scored three against UAB. She missed her first game of the season against Memphis, but logged seven minutes in her next contest against Cincinnati. Klug had a strong game against Charlotte scoring six points and followed it up by setting or tying career highs against Saint Louis with points (10), rebounds (3), assists (1) and blocked shots (1). She followed that up with four point efforts against Tulane and Southern Miss.

Klug earned her fourth start of the season against South Florida, scoring two points in 15 minutes. She hit 4-of-7 shots against Charlotte in the C-USA Tournament to score a season-best 10 points.

1999-2000

A solid frontcourt performer, Klug's debut season was hindered by an injured knee at midseason. She recovered from a partially torn meniscus in her right knee and finished the season with several strong performances. Klug averaged 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.2 minutes per contest. She made her collegiate debut with two point, three rebounds and a steal in four minutes at Drake. Against Wis.-Milwaukee, she scored a career-high six points on 3-4 field-goal shooting in a career-high nine minutes.

Klug was out of action for a majority of January with her knee injury before returning to action against South Florida. She scored three points and grabbed two rebounds at Tulane. Against Louisville, she logged two points and a career-high three boards.

High School (Cedar Grove)

A three-time all-area player of the year, Klug concluded her career with 1,732 points, good for a 20.1 points per game average. She also grabbed 1,212 rebounds and had 363 blocks in her four seasons of starting for the varsity. She tallied 24.9 points, 15.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game while shooting 62 percent from the field and 73 percent from the line as a senior. She was selected All-Wisconsin First Team and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel All-Area Team as a senior. Additionally, she earned honorable mention All State as a sophomore and junior, Klug was named All-Conference First Team all four seasons in which she played.

An Academic All-State and WIAA Scholar Athlete during her final campaign for the Rockets, Klug was the winner of President's Award for Academic Excellence and two-year qualifier for Academic Excellence letter.

She was named to the WBCA All-Star team after her senior season. Klug also lettered in soccer, track and field, and volleyball. She graduated seventh in her class with a 3.83 GPA.
