Post Game Notes vs Notre Dame
*First win over Notre Dame since 1992. Marquette snapped its 10 game losing streak against the Irish with the 71-62 win at the Al McGuire Center.
*First win over Notre Dame for Terri Mitchell as head coach in 11 seasons at Marquette.
*The Golden Eagles' 71 points marked the 16th time this season MU has scored 70 or more points. Marquette is 14-2 in those contests.
*Senior Danielle Kamm scored her 1,000th point on a jumper with 17:40 left on the clock in the first half. Kamm becomes the 18th Golden Eagle in program history to score 1,000 points for her career.
*All four seniors (Danielle Kamm, Efueko Osagie-Landry, Jasmine McCullough and Christina Quaye) started together for the second time this season. The Golden Eagles have used two different starting lineups in the last three games.
*Osagie-Landry led the Golden Eagles in scoring for the first time all season with 15 points and grabbed a team high four steals. Both were season highs.
*It was the second time Osagie-Landry has scored in double digits this season, an seventh of her career.
*Sophomore Krystal Ellis scored in double figures (12) for the eighth straight game, and Quaye tallied double digits (12) for the seventh consecutive game. It was the 17th game overall this season each has scored double figures.
*Marquette out-rebounded Notre Dame, 37-31. It is the 16th time this season Marquette has won the battle on the boards. MU is 16-0 in those games.
*Marquette shot a season high 54.9 percent for the game. It was also a season high for a Notre Dame opponent.
*Marquette held Notre Dame to 62 points, a season low single game scoring output in the conference games for the Irish.
