MILWAUKEE - *No. 6/5 Connecticut is the highest ranking opponent to play at the Al McGuire Center. *The 4,000 fans in attendance marked the first Al McGuire Center sellout in school history and the largest crowd to ever witness a Marquette women's basketball game. *The 52 points Connecticut scored was the fourth lowest total an opponent has scored this season. It was also a season low for the Huskies *Marquette's 48 points was a season low. The last time Marquette scored less than 50 points was on Dec. 19, 2004 in a 50-47 loss to Notre Dame. *First time all season Marquette has suffered back-to-back losses. *The Golden Eagles dominated on the boards, 44-34. It was the second time this season Marquette has out-rebounded its opponent and loss. *Senior Christina Quaye tallied her third 20+ point performance of the season. It was also the 10 straight game of double figure scoring, 19th over all of the season. *Sophomore Krystal Ellis registered her 11th consecutive game of double figure scoring with 10 points. It was her 20th game of 10 or more points this season.
