The Marquette women's basketball team concluded its time in Paris with the first game of the 2014 Foreign Tour. MU faced AMW Team France on Tuesday, playing a close game before falling 81-67.

Senior Apiew Ojulu led three Golden Eagles in double figures with 13 points. Classmates Arlesia Morse and Cristina Bigica added 12 and 11 points, respectively. Every available player saw action on the court, while freshman Hannah Grim tallied eight points in her first game in an MU uniform. Sophomore McKayla Yentz also scored eight.

The Golden Eagles have been busy since landing in Paris on Monday. The first day included a whirlwind bus tour seeing historic sites, including a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower, the Note Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. Monday finished with a delicious dinner and boat cruise on the Siene River.

Tuesday was another busy day that began going up on the Eiffel Tower, followed by a walking tour around Paris streets. The Golden Eagles were thrilled to be back on the court and played with a high energy for first-year head coach Carolyn Kieger's first game at the helm.

MU will depart Paris early Wednesday morning with a high-speed train to Nice. Don't forget to keep following along on the adventures in Europe on MarquetteWBB Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter. Track the social media conversation with #MUWBBinEurope.
