After two short stops in Nice, France and Como Village, Italy, the Marquette women's basketball team has arrived in Florence to play the next two games of its 2014 Foreign Tour.

The Golden Eagles faced the Netherlands National Team on Friday and will face the squad for the final two games as well.

Marquette dropped a 78-72 decision in a highly competitive game, led by senior Arlesia Morse's 20 point and 12 board double-double. Eight players scored six or more points and the Golden Eagles combined to grab 72 rebounds.

Since leaving Paris, MU has been on the go. A high-speed train ride took the team to Nice and the squad took in the sights along the coast- even taking a chance to swim in the Mediterranean Ocean. The following day was a bus trip along the coast for a short stop in Monaco before a four-hour drive to Como Village on Lake Como in Italy.

The Golden Eagles enjoyed an evening of delicious Italian food and breathtaking views of the lake and Alps. Earlier on Friday MU had a two-hour boat trip across Lake Como to a small town, Bellagio, where the team was able to enjoy some lunch, gelato and shopping.

The Golden Eagles will take on the Netherlands squad on Saturday and drive to Rome on Sunday, which will be the final stop on the trip.
