FLORENCE, Italy--The Marquette women's basketball team played its second game against the Netherlands National team on Saturday and earned a 77-66 victory. Junior Lauren Tibbs led five Golden Eagles in double digits with 14 points in the highly contested battle.

Seniors Arlesia Morse and Cristina Bigica each recorded 13 points, while freshmen Tia Elbert and Kenisha Bell also added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Marquette outrebounded the Netherlands squad for the second straight night grabbing 56 boards to just 35 by the Netherlands. Tibbs, Bigica and seniors Chelsie Butler and Apiew Ojulu each pulled down eight boards.

The Golden Eagles spent the afternoon sightseeing in Florence. There was a guided tour and a view inside the Duomo Cathedral, the largest brick and mortar dome. MU will conclude its time in Florence on Sunday, spending the morning touring more of the city before bussing to Rome, the final stop on the foreign tour.
